Items You Probably Didn't Know Were Vegan (Walmart Edition)😋

Walmart’s Great Value brand offers a plethora of good foods. From chewy granola bars to smoked Gouda mac and cheese there are plenty of hearty items to fill our carts with. However not every item on the grocery aisle is a winner. We took to Reddit and found several foods that should be on the “pass” list.

One Reddit commenter called the Great Value pasta sauce the brand's "worst" product. "I don't know what it is but some GV pasta sauce tastes like pennies" they wrote. If you're looking for a hearty jar of pasta sauce your best bet is to head to Trader Joe's and get the Roasted Red Pepper and Almond Pesto Sauce. It's so good even an Italian chef swears by it.

If you're looking to save money on your favorite chip you might want to reconsider. One commenter said that they "do not recommend" the Great Value Pringles knockoff adding that it's best to "buy the name brands" for this particular snack. With Pringles regularly adding new flavors to its lineup like the Carnitas Taco Crisps sold at Walmart it's hard not to stick with the original maker.
