This event ID 6008 is a common error that appears in the event viewer. And most likely to see this event ID after your system automatically shuts down unexpectedly and this event ID 6008 can be caused by several reasons such as CPU overheating, damaged power supply. supply unit and certain security threats.

Windows Event Viewer is a tool that displays information about hardware and software events on the Windows operating system. It is a useful tool to troubleshoot different types of system and application issues on your Windows 10/11.

Restoration driver:
1. Right-click the Start icon and select Device Manager.
2. In the Device Manager window, expand Graphics Adapter. Then right-click on your graphics driver and select Properties.
3. Go to the Driver tab, and click Roll Back Driver. After that, restart your computer to see if the problem is resolved.

This event error may be logged in the system event log if you restart the computer after an application using the InitiateSystemShutdownEx function previously caused the machine to shut down automatically. And so a program that uses the InitiateSystemShutdownEx function with the force flag is the one that is responsible for automatically starting the shutdown procedure.
