In today's digital age, smartphones have become indispensable tools for capturing precious moments, creating content and sharing experiences. With advancements in technology, most smartphones now come with high-quality cameras capable of recording stunning videos.

However, while the video quality is excellent, the audio doesn't always meet our expectations. Fortunately, removing audio from a video on an Android phone is a relatively simple process. Whether you want to eliminate background noise, remove unwanted comments, or simply mute the sound for creative purposes, here's a step-by-step guide on how to achieve it effortlessly.

How to remove sound from video on Android phone

1: Unlock your Android device and locate the Gallery app icon on your home screen or in the app drawer. Next, tap the Gallery app icon to open it. The app will display all photos and videos stored on your device.

2: At this point, scroll through the list of videos or albums to find the video you want to remove sound from and select it. This action will open the video in full screen mode.

3: While viewing the selected video, look for an /"Edit/" or /"Pencil/" icon usually located in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Tap on it to access the video editing options. At this point, find a speaker icon and select it.

4: From here, use the slider icon that appears to remove the audio from the video. After removing the sound, review the edited video to make sure it meets your expectations. Once you are satisfied with the changes, select the /"Save/" or /"Done/" button to save the changes.
